Box of money by Anastasi Kuznetsova

Hello! Anastasi is with you. I want to show you a box to store money. The base is a piece of wood, covered with white gesso.

To create the relief, I used various plastic elements. At the heart of the background there is modeling paste with a touch of powder (to give some texture). By the way, with the powder, the paste dries much faster, which is very good in the work, when several layers of paints need to be applied from above.

The box is functional. Therefore I used only acrylics. They are wonderful! After the paints dried up, I tinted the exposed parts with a bit of white gesso and applied waxes. Inside, I put two pieces of paper 7 Dots Studio.

Adventure Is Out There by Georgie

Hi lovelies,

Today, I’m sharing a layout with you. A little darker for this time of year, but I do love working with dark colours, and the mood they can create. I find doing these are a great way to express yourself and play with products.

I nearly always start with a layer of clear gesso to seal the paper and to stop paint and ink seeping into it. It also helps the paint to move nicely, especially when sprayed with water.

The Prima Metallic Accents were such fun to use to highlight and define. They are a relatively new toy for me and I can see myself using these a lot!

Will leave you with some close up shots and I have a video of my process to share too. Enjoy! :)

Here is my video:

Have a lovely day and big hugs,
